21ST CENTURY GARGOYLE | AKA "THE DUDE"

The 21st Century Gargoyle ( also known as "The Dude" ) is a more contemporary take on how we’ve traditionally seen gargoyles over the centuries. One noticeable feature would be piercings on his tongue and ear. More apparent in its appearance is his mo-hawk as a sign of youth and vigor.

He is a creature born from the depths of the sea, marked by the scales along his legs. Feeling the growing need for newness and change, he desired to leave his abyss and soar about the heavens. So he sprouted wings to meet his medieval brethren atop the steeples and ledges of churches, castles, and towers as a symbol of Darwinian evolution.
